Are there any legitimate work from home business on the net?

Question: Are there any legitimate work from home business on the net?

Answer: Finding the right home business opportunity is a challenge. There are many people who have been searching for the right online opportunity but never really did find what they want. If you really want to find the best home based business internet work opportunity, you should do some research.

A good source of info for online business are the entrepreneur magazines. You could subscribe to one or two types of them and learn about setting up an online business. They usually offer some very good insights when it comes to setting up your business.

Another way for you to find the right home based internet business opportunity is to ask for referrals from friends and relatives. Is there a work from home job that I can do with paying for someones services?

Question: Is there a work from home job that I can do with paying for someones services?

Answer: One is a home job in which you wouldn't pay anyone for any services. This is a "job". The other way, where you would have to pay for some services from people is a home based business. These have fee's rather it's yearly or what not that you would have to pay such as licensing, and things to do with the business. Any business you have rather it's a traditional business or a home based business this is a fact of life. The income opportunity is significantly higher, but there are things in which you have to pay.
If your looking for a work from home job, I'm not sure what your qualifications are, what you know how to do etc. Even though a job is home based, you still have to meet these expectations, the same as any "traditional job" There is no difference in that. Since I don't know anything about your back ground, work experience etc, I really don't know where to refer you over to where you can apply for a home job position. Here's an article that has a couple home based job positions. Look at them, if you can do them, then apply to the company. A lot of information on the article about what things to expect in home jobs, and things to avoid.

Where are there work from home employment opportunities?

Question: Where are there work from home employment opportunities?

I really have a strong desire to work from home. I simply can not take working for my company any longer. I am sick of the workload and the pay. I am looking for real work from home employment opportunities.

Answer: There are a number of legitimate work at home jobs, but all those you see advertised online where you have to pay a fee to join, are nothing but scams. You would never get anything for your money.

Legitimate work at home jobs would be in such areas as telemarketing, customer service, collections, website design, graphics work, database entry, script writing, article writing, proof reading, editing, etc., etc., etc. Those jobs will not normally be advertised online other that at well-known and respected job sites or on the company's own website. Nor will there ever be any fee involved to apply for the job. Nor will there ever be a fee to pay before you start work.

Applying for such a job will be identical to applying for any other job. No one will hire you without first seeing a copy of your resume, or by having you complete their online job application. My advice would be to research every company before you apply to them for a job. Make certain that the company is indeed legit. And above all, know this. If any company ever tries to charge you a fee to apply, before actually starting a job, or at any other time, it is a Scam! No exception!

Are there any good work from home jobs that require the internet but no upfront money?

Question: Are there any good work from home jobs that require the internet but no upfront money?

I currently work from home for a telemarketing company. However, I would like to add to my work load and income. Are there any data entry work from home jobs that I can apply for that do not require me to pay them for the job? Or are there other marketing opportunities that I can work from home? The main thing is I do not want to have to pay anyone to have a work from home job!

Answer: Typically with these questions, all you get is spam. There are telecommuting jobs that some major companies offer, but you'll only find them through a traditional employer.

I can't say if all of these online jobs are scams or not, but it seems like every one I've tried ended up either wanting money up front (which legit jobs NEVER ask for) or they end up never paying for services rendered.

**In fact, I got a check a month or so ago from one of the survey companies I tried a while back. Upon cashing it at the bank, it was linked to a FRAUD ALERT and they would not cash the check!!!**

Proceed with caution with these jobs and if you don't want to do 9-5, consider other unique possibilities. Maybe you could clean houses (which can pay upwards of $60-$100 daily), babysit/pet sit, do lawn maintenance, or other jobs out of your home. My 16-year-old nephew even started a graphic design business out of his house and makes pretty decent money.

The great thing is these jobs pay cash up front and give you a flexible schedule. Network with your family, friends, and neighbors and you'll have work lined up in no time.

How can I work from home in the medical transcription field?

Question: How can I work from home in the medical transcription field?

I am just completing my medical transcription course and was wondering how it works from home. I find the field of Pathology the most interesting and would love to work in thaf field, working from home. What I'm wondering is how it works, for instance, do I tap into a website to get the transcriptions?

Answer: I worked in the medical field (physician office and hospitals) for years and years. Most of the doctor's I worked with didn't use a service or website to hire for transcription. It was usually someone who came into the office with a flyer about their service and their prices. Once hired, the person would come in at the end of the day and pick up the tapes for that day and would usually return them within 3 days. Most hospitals don't hire independent transcription contractors. They hire employees who work from the hospital. However, with telecommuting now becoming so popular, I would think a few calls to the HR dept. of several hospitals might just snag you a contract or two. You might also make a few calls to some labs in your area---you mentioned path is fascinating to you. I think if you market yourself in the right way and you have competitive pricing you'd have a really good chance of convincing some of the smaller places to give you a chance even if that hasn't been the norm for them in the past. Everyone is looking to save on costs right now!

Looking to work from home. What are some legit companies to work for and actually make money?

Question: Looking to work from home. What are some legit companies to work for and actually make money?

I am a stay at home mom of three children. I love staying at home with my children. Especially these days. you just don't find that to often. Because the economy is so bad I need extra income. I want to work from home but I am unsure what to do and what really works. Does google payday work? Any idea of a work from home job that is legit and you can actually make some money doing it without working 24 hours a day? Also without investing money into a work from home company?

Answer: "If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

Does anyone know of legitimate work from home?

I would personally like to recommend you to become part of the people from data entry.

They have guided thousands of team members to success using ther data-entry job called Global Data Entry. Some members are currently making $300 – $2000 and more per day, using their program and guidance. They have been dealing with online data entry for over 7 years.

Looking for good work from home opportunities?

It really just depends on what you like and what you are comfortable with. You need to keep in mind that work at home jobs are not hourly pay jobs. At least not unless you have a degree and work with a company that provides you everything so that they can monitor your hours. I work from home, and it isn't a get rich quick thing.

What are the best work from home offers that doesn't require fees or me buying something?

The best home business that you can be sure is not a scam is one that you start yourself. It will depend on what you want, how you define to be interesting. A person may consider a pet sitting business to be the most exciting work in the world, while another person would rather watch TV than take care of dogs.

The key is to determine what your interests are, what you want to do, what is suitable for your lifestyle and your overall goals, and what can fit with your resources.

Dan Ramsey in his book "101 Best Home Businesses" has a chapter on how to find YOUR best home business. He suggests these 10 steps:

1. List 5 things you do best
2. List how others would benefit from what you do best
3. Find out how to give people what they want
4. Learn the value of your services to others
5. Find out who else offers similar services
6. Learn from the successes of others
7. Learn from the failures of others
8. Plan your own success
9. Make low cost mistakes
10. Enjoy what you do and how you do it

He then made suggestions on the best home businesses according to type. Here are a few of them:
